Situated on a 100 acre site of defunct sugar mill on the outskirts of Shirdi town, this project poses the challenge of maintaining historical continuity while building a modern facility dedicated to science and education. With a minimally invasive approach, our design retains and extends the industrial art deco character of original structures. Newer additions in modern materials blend in by accepting original motifs, patterns and forms through etching on glass and other subtle design means. Scheduled for completion in late 2010.
