Not questioning the client’s need for formal workspaces, we managed to fit in the requirements in the most efficient manner and consequently freed us a large bit of space to be used for a breakout, a hybrid use space. The centrally located area thus is a cluster of meeting rooms - open, semi open & fully closed .With a materials palette that stayed staid, we introduced some playfulness in this transition space by curling out bits of partitioning that provided glimpses of the activity inside or even creating an interesting caricature wall at the entrance to the pantry area.
